Wheel Throwing
8 Tuesdays
Instructor: Kelly Beiermann
Want to throw bigger and more intentional work? Join us on Wednesday evenings to take your pottery skills to the next level. Over this 8-week course, instructor Kelly Beiermann will share her 20 years of wheel-throwing experience to help you confidently add an additional 5 to 10 pounds to your throwing practice. Not only will students learn to throw larger in one piece, the class will also explore stacking, altering, and other methods of centering.
Schedule: Tuesday, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Duration: 8 Weeks
Instructor: Kelly Beiermann
Prerequisite: Students must be able to comfortably center at least 3 lbs of clay on the wheel.

Over the course of 8 classes, you'll learn tips and tricks on how to throw big!
What’s included:
1 25lb bag of white stoneware and unlimited house clay
Firing for up to 8 large finished pieces
Tools and glazes
6 open studio hours per week to practice
Each student is allotted kiln space for 10 pieces total during the session. Want to make more? No problem—extra work can be fired for a small fee.
Important Notes:
Students must be 18 or older
Attendance at the first class is required
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 10 days before the course begins are eligible for a full refund, minus a $30 processing fee.
No refunds or transfers can be offered within 14 days of the start date or once the course has begun.
