Join Nola clay at its members for a raku firing at Wildlings Forest and Sanctuary.
Attendees can bring 3 pots, work can be up to 16'' tall, but no wider than 6'' to fit in the kiln. Your pots will not fully vitrify and will not be considered "food safe"
**Attendees must have prior clay experience and bring their own bisque fired work. Please do not sign up if you are unable to bring your own work. Please do not bring any trays or flat work and nothing under 4’’
You work will need to be glazed 24 hours in advance, you are welcome to come to the studio the day before at 6pm to glaze. Or fire them without glaze and use horse hair.
Day: Saturday June 6th
Time: 4pm
Ill be making a community piece to donate to the farm, we can all use some of the llama hair to decorate.
This event is a fundraiser for the animal sanctuary and a portion of your tuition will go towards the farm.
